Childhood flavours with todays meals
I’m Zee, and I started Raju because the flavours of my childhood didn’t reflect the way I actually eat today. I love my heritage, but I live in the 21st century. I wanted sauces that could keep up with a Sunday roast, a fish finger sandwich or a late-night fusion experiment.
Deep down, we are innovators. We aren’t interested in just recreating what’s been done before; we want to create the new.
Raju is my homage to the generations of rebels who broke barriers before me, but it is built for the way we live now. We’ve turned the tangy, spicy and sweet profiles I loved as a kid into all-natural sauces that belong next to the ketchup, not hidden away in a specialty aisle.
We are here to give you permission to experiment, to be loud and to have a bit of proper fun in the kitchen. If it tastes good, it works. It really is as simple as that.
